Session Description Former CT Treasurer Nappier is often quoted as saying: “The Treasury is one of the few agencies whose job it is to give money back” Often people are unaware that they have inherited money; others may have forgotten an old savings account or a payroll check went uncashed. The Treasurer knows anytime is a perfect time to “Find What’s Yours!” Speaker Bio Prior to joining the Treasury Ms. Greenslade was General Counsel and Deputy Secretary of the State within the Office of the Secretary of the State from January 1999 until December 2005. Attorney Greenslade was employed by the Office of the Secretary of the State in various positions since 1985 including Managing Attorney of the Commercial Recording Division. Attorney Greenslade has been an active member of the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA) since 2006 and was elected Eastern Regional Vice President in 2013 and 2014. NAUPA is an affiliate of the National Association of State Treasurers. Attorney Greenslade received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut in 1981, and her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles, in 1984.
