Dues Supported Training

Session Description
Treasurer Nappier is often quoted as saying: “The Treasury is one of the few agencies whose job it is to give money back”

Often people are unaware that they have inherited money; others may have forgotten an old savings account or a payroll check went uncashed. The Treasurer knows anytime is a perfect time to “Find What’s Yours!”

This is “What We’ve Got”: More than 1.4 million people owed $767 million – this is real money! Go to www.CTBigList.com and Find What’s Yours!

As part of this presentation, we will discuss the escheatment process – sources of these funds, how the Treasury safeguards your money, and the process to recover your unclaimed property.
