The Fundamentals of Cryptocurrency & Its Impact on Credit Unions

In this session we will explore the current state of cryptocurrencies as well as the opportunities and risks crypto can bring to credit unions. We will kick-off the session with an overview on the fundamentals of crypto from Dr. Lamont Black where he’ll explain cryptocurrency as a form of money, how people are buying crypto as a digital asset, and the importance of the blockchain platform.

Additionally, we will hear from two fintechs focused on the crypto space as well as a credit union leader on how to get your board to buy into the idea of cryptocurrencies and what you can do to get started.
